If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I just started trying out CBD! I’ve heard all sorts of crazy myths and claims about what it does for your body. Everything from “it gets you soooo high” to “it made me lose 60lbs in 2 weeks and is a miracle drug”
Neither of these are the case.
CBD is simply a supplement that promotes a general sense of wellbeing. Personally, I’ve noticed that I get much better sleep and that it mildly helps with my anxiety. That’s it. No miracles or highs, just a little bit of help in the relaxation area of my life.
I was lucky enough to have a company help me out with sending me great products, but now that I’m on my own looking to buy more I noticed how confusing it can be to make sure you’re getting a good product. So here’s my article of research that I’ve compiled to tell you more about CBD!

What is Full Spectrum CBD?
There are tons of terms that you’ll stumble across when looking for CBD supplements. Isolate, full-spectrum CBD, pure-spectrum CBD, broad-spectrum, and a variety of other adjectives are some of the terms you’ll run into. These all refer to cannabinoids and plant materials found in the supplement.
So what does Full Spectrum mean?
The two most common terms I’ve come across are Isolate and Full Spectrum. Full Spectrum goes through less processing than isolates. It’ll contain all of the cannabinoids that the help plant has without removing any. Full-Spectrum CBD typically includes SOME THC… this will be under the Federal limit (under 0.3%) unless you’re buying through a dispensary
These are most commonly found as tinctures but can also be found as gummies or inhalables.
The breakdowns will often be provided by the manufacturer! Here’s an example from CBD Tru:
Then what the heck is Isolate?
CBD Isolate is pure cannabidiol and is 99% CBD. That’s it. It’s been processed and separated from all other components. For the most part, the only upside of taking Isolate is if you need to pass sensitive drug tests that may pick up the traces of THC that can be found in Full Spectrum CBD.
Full Spectrum has a synergistic effect and all of the components work together to give you the best results! I’d definitely recommend it over any other kinds.

Great
There are so many CBD lovers in the world, but I am not one of them. I have taken it here and there are really have not felt or seen any difference!
I love CBD. They are so good. I have not tried this specific brand however I will totally look into it. CBD helps me in so many ways.
I’ve never heard of the term “full spectrum” before, but I’m glad I came across this article! CBD is something I’m quite interested in, so it was nice to learn more.
Really seems like a good product. I have never tried it but after reading this I am tempted to!
I’m really amazed by how many CBD products there are available these days. I don’t really know much about it so your article is very useful.
Thanks for sharing! So I’ve never actually tried CBD except like CBD chocolate and tea, but I never noticed a difference. I am flying to Thailand in a couple short weeks and I am really nervous about the air travel, so I have been doing a lot of research on whether or not CBD will help with anxiety!
I already heard a lot of good things about taking or using CBD products but never tried using it. I think this is the right time for me to try it, thanks for explaining these things with us.
I have never tried it and I’m not sure if I ever will. Thank you for all the great info x

First time to hear about full spectrum CBD. This is all new for me but it’s quite interesting how it can increase an individual’s wellness over time.
It seems like I’m hearing a lot about these products lately. The calming effects it has on you seem worthwhile though.
Well, I don’t know what the CBD is. So I learn something new here and maybe I would like to try it later.
I always wondered how effective CBD could be because it’s become such a popular thing now. It’s great that it was able to help you get some rest and relax you.
I have never taken CBD before and I don’t think I am going to in the future. It’s not a product for me.
CBD does have its place in alternative medicine. I’m glad to see more people are open to trying this as an option.
Educational and empowering. CBD is a powerful chemical that our brain receptors accept very positively.
