KAI Legacy West
The Setup:
Okay, so living in the Plano/Frisco/Addison area, I always try to keep track of new trendy places that open up near me.
I gotta start by saying I’m a HUGE fan of both Legacy North and Legacy West, so when I came across KAI, I had to check it out.
The Review
I got a private tour with Sean Sette who is basically in charge of making everything awesome at the restaurant. He told me about the concept of having an entire night’s worth of scenery and entertainment all in one restaurant. Diners start with a pre-meal drink, then are moved to the formal dining area, then are able to go to the lounge nicknamed the “Magenta Room” for dessert and after dinner drinks, and finally out to the patio for casual vibes.
The 7 dishes I got to try were all phenomenal. If I HAD to choose a favorite though, it would have to be the sushi roll. It’s called Steve Roll and it was 100% one of the most interesting flavor combinations I’ve ever had in sushi (in a good way!)

to the dining room
to the lounge
to the selfie-friendly bathroom
I would wholeheartedly recommend KAI as a date spot or a (fancy) night out with friends
